Bogdana is a third-year student in the Honours Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization program at McMaster University. She is currently completing a Farncombe Summer Studentship in the Schertzer Lab and will be continuing her research as a project student in the fall. Bogdana is interested in the impact of bacterial-derived probiotics and postbiotics on metabolism. Specifically, she is focused on examining the effects of probiotic treatment using Bifidobacterium longum on liver pathology.

Outside the lab, Bogdana enjoys running, traveling, and baking.
